A juvenile Bald eagle grabs a carp from the Huntington Central Park lake in Huntington Beach on Thursday, April 15, 2021. According to bird photographer John Luciano of Anaheim, the one- to two-year old American symbol has been spotted at this location on and off for the last two weeks. Because the lake is also a feeding spot for Osprey, this young eagle is being harassed by the local birds, including Osprey and terns. Margie Stephens of Anaheim added that watching this eagle "is the cream of the crop. It's really something" to watch and she believes this specific eagle is one that was hatched in nearby Anaheim Hills one or two years ago.
