An estimated people have recovered from COVID-19 or are no longer infectious, according to a common statistical method applied by The Times. Roughly cases remain active.
Vaccines
So far, 72.7% of San Luis Obispo County residents have received at least one dose and 66.1% are fully vaccinated.
To date, 591,587 vaccines have been administered. Over the last seven days, an average of 76 doses per day have been given out.
State data show roughly 93% of the county’s seniors have received at least a single shot.
Though the race of some vaccinated people is unknown, the tallies below offer the best available view of racial disparities.
