The weather has undergone significant changes in most parts of the country over the past two days. Except during the morning and evening, it hardly feels like winter. The heat has broken a six-year record this season, with maximum and minimum temperatures rising by 6 to 7 degrees above average.

However, according to the latest alert from the Meteorological Department, normal to heavy rainfall is expected in northern India for the next 36 hours, which may bring down the temperature. The sky has been cloudy since last night, and a dense fog alert has been issued for North India, including Delhi-NCR.
