Old Man Marley’s house from “Home Alone” has come on the market in Winnetka, Ill., at $3.1 million.
The wood-shingled behemoth, with 6,863 square feet of living space, sits on about three-quarters of a snow-covered acre.
Should one be pining for winter scenes, the listing should serve to transport, without actual sub-zero temperatures spoiling the effect.
A billiards room provides a spot to while away the bitter months. The bay windowed breakfast room is lovely but brrrr – there are no curtains in the listing photo. A charming screened porch is covered in a dusting of snow as is the backyard swimming pool, winterized under a pool cover.
Those gables make for some interesting rooflines in one cavernous bedroom. There’s also a dungeon-esque basement gym.

Other features of the seven-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom house, which was built in 1899, include two foyers, two stairways, a mud room, a wet bar and a third-floor office/computer room.
Old Man Marley was played by actor Robert Blossom in the 1990 family classic starring a young Macauley Culkin. Blossom died in 2011.
The property last changed hands in 2003 for $3 million.
Linda Martin of Coldwell Banker is the listing agent.
