Judge refuses to drop Google suit

A federal judge refused to dismiss a lawsuit against Google Inc. that claims the Web search leader’s adWords program abuses trademarks.

The case brought by American Blind & Wallpaper Factory Inc. alleges that Google allows rivals of a company to buy ads that appear when consumers search the Web for information on that business.
