Clifford Chance Firm Closes Two Offices

Clifford Chance, the world’s biggest law firm, will close its San Francisco and Los Angeles offices after 38 lawyers departed for rival firms.

The closures come two years after the London-based firm lured dozens of partners from West Coast competitors. The firm will keep its San Diego and Palo Alto outposts open, a spokesman said.
