Bush Names Fischer to U.S. District Court

President Bush has nominated Superior Court Judge Dale Susan Fischer to become a U.S. District Court judge.
Fischer, 52, was appointed to the Municipal Court in 1997 and became a Superior Court judge when the two Los Angeles County courts merged in 2000.
