No Sport Has More Love Than Tennis

Why is Davis Cup tennis of interest in this country only when the U.S. team is involved? Once the Americans are eliminated the event is virtually ignored: Television didn’t show the final matches between Australia and France, and The Times buried the results deep in the sports section. In previous years it wasn’t much different. Pitiful!
