Chatsworth 41, El Camino Real 35--Joe Shumpert ran for two touchdowns and returned an interception for another score and the Chancellors held off host El Camino Real.
With Chatsworth trailing, 14-6, in the second quarter, Shumpert ran 42 yards for a score and Jason Moss passed to Dustin Hamilton for the conversion to tie the score.
Moss scored on a 44-yard run and Shumpert, who finished with 104 yards in seven carries, returned an interception 64 yards to give Chatsworth a 28-14 halftime lead.
After El Camino Real (2-7, 0-4) pulled within 28-21 in the third quarter, Chatsworth (2-7, 1-3) scored on its next two possessions and had its largest lead at 42-21 after Brad Konya scored on a two-yard run.
Will Savage played quarterback for El Camino Real in the second half and completed 15 of 28 passes for 236 yards.
He had fourth-quarter scoring passes to Terrish Weston for 76 yards and Jeremy Boyle for 13 yards.
Weston finished with seven receptions for 198 yards.
Ken Lester intercepted two passes for Chatsworth.
