* Re “Plan Would Add Parking at Valley Subway Stations,” Aug. 24.

The solution isn’t more parking; the solution is more subway, just like the real cities have. People act as if the incompetence of our local leaders and the incompetence of our hired subway builders were a force of nature or a truth of the universe. The environment didn’t stop the subway, people did. Dreamtown, it seems, has a stunning lack of vision. Go back to square one and keep digging.
