Rankings Change Little

Florida State and Penn State remained 1-2 in the Bowl Championship Series standings, with Virginia Tech still third but falling further behind the Nittany Lions.

The BCS’ computer-generated standings also placed Florida fourth, up two spots from last week and ahead of Tennessee and Kansas State.

The Seminoles (9-0), No. 1 in both polls since the preseason, had 3.11 points in the standings. Penn State (9-0) had 5.48 points and Virginia Tech (7-0) had 7.18 points.

Last week, Virginia Tech trailed Penn State by .5 points; this week the difference is 1.7 points.
