Santa Ana Calvary Chapel 1, L.A. Baptist 0--Anna Jones hit a sixth-inning sacrifice fly for the two-time defending champions at Concordia University.

Nikki Girard (12-7) pitched a four-hitter with four strikeouts and one walk for L.A. Baptist (14-12).

Cyndi Shaw had three of L.A. Baptist’s five hits off Stephanie Williams (5-1).

Cornerstone Christian 2, Capistrano Valley Christian 1--Shannon Brown’s run-scoring triple triggered a two-run fifth inning for Cornerstone Christian at Charles E. Cook Park in San Juan Capistrano.

Juli Hartnell (18-6) pitched a two-hitter with seven strikeouts and two walks for Cornerstone Christian (19-6).

Lauren Capriotti (17-7) pitched a three-hitter with 13 strikeouts, two walks and a hit batter for Capistrano Valley Christian (18-7).
