Red Cross Center Needs Help Taking Fingerprints

Volunteers are needed to take fingerprints at the American Red Cross’ San Fernando Valley Service Center at 14717 Sherman Way.

Those interested in the volunteer position must be at least 16 years old and available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon or from 1 to 4 p.m., said Shirley Valencia, a volunteer spokeswoman for the Red Cross in downtown Los Angeles. Training will be provided.

“This is a great way to get some training in taking fingerprints,” Valencia said. “And you’re helping your fellow man by volunteering for the Red Cross.”
