McShane Quits at Oregon

Point guard Mike McShane, unhappy with his reduced role at Oregon and saying Coach Ernie Kent “quit” on him, has quit the Ducks.

McShane, a 6-foot-4 junior, told his teammates of his decision at Monday’s practice and cited a lack of playing time.
