440 Apartments Sold

FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Sycamore Valley, a 440-unit apartment complex, has been bought by BRE Properties Inc. for $23.5 million. BRE, a San Francisco-based real estate investment trust, said the property has 98% occupancy.

The acquisition increases BRE Properties’ holdings in the Los Angeles/Orange County area to seven apartment complexes, the company said.
