HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Dorsey’s Vegas Trip Fails to Pay Off

Traveling to Las Vegas for its season opener, Dorsey fell victim to a strong offensive attack by Nevada state champion Las Vegas Eldorado in a 39-7 loss.
Dorsey fell behind 33-0 midway through the second quarter and couldn’t recover. Eldorado scored on each of its five first-half possessions and rolled up 338 yards. Eldorado ended the game with a 471 yards in total offense to Dorsey’s 210.
Anthony Jackson led Eldorado with 184 yards--including 165 in the first half--before being sidelined in the third quarter with an ankle injury.
Dorsey scored its only points when quarterback Sultan Ali hooked up with Antonio Carrion for a 51-yard touchdown pass. Carrion had four receptions for 102 yards.
