Body Is Identified: Santa Ana police Wednesday identified the body of a man found in a parking lot Monday night as Gregory Lynn Williams, 23, of Garden Grove. The cause of Williams’ death appears to be strangulation and the case is being investigated as a homicide, police spokeswoman Maureen Thomas said. Williams’ body was discovered by a passer-by in a parking lot at 838 N. Van Ness Ave., Thomas said. Police could not determine if the victim was killed at another location and then left at the lot, she added.
