Holding the Fort for Springsteen

Being from the East Coast, I couldn’t believe I had a soul mate here in sunny California. There are many of us who started out in ’75 listening to Bruce and letting his music soothe those trying times. Many of us lived those songs.

But as for now, I am politely bowing out for the moment until the masses have had their fill and turn to another trend. But I’ll be back, and so will you. It’s in our souls.

Springsteen has received the recognition he so deserves, but I hope not at the price of losing his pure feeling for commercial whitewash. It would be such a waste.
