Local News in Brief : Woman Held in Death of Her Sister-in-Law

A Woodland Hills woman was shot to death, and her sister-in-law has been arrested and held on suspicion of murder.

Police said that Maria Trinidad Lopez, 22, died after being shot in the chest at her home about 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Police said that Herlinda Lopez, 22, was arrested and taken to Van Nuys Jail.

Lopez is being held without bail, police said.
