Trial Countdown Begins for Shuttle Discovery

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. —  Crews began a practice countdown Wednesday to clear the shuttle Discovery for blastoff June 17 on a flight featuring a Frenchman and a Saudi Arabian prince. Clocks started ticking at 4:40 p.m. on a dress rehearsal that is to end at 8 a.m. today.
